We have a new elected local and county government at the beginning of the ordeal of a new term. A test they can pass or fail with flying colors.
Will it be an administration friendly to business, to local entrepreneurship or an administration of red tape, taxes and obstacles to development?
Really, how can we recognize from the outset what kind of administration we are dealing with? By what signs?
As we know, you will recognize them by their deeds. But what are the facts that matter to us local entrepreneurs in the hospitality and gastronomy industry? What does business-friendly government look like for us?
An administration that recognizes the valuable contributions of business and SMEs to local community development.
An administration that works with us, the entrepreneurs, in public-private partnership to increase the capacity, sustainability and value of small businesses.
An administration that is always looking for and identifying ways to improve the environment in which we, as entrepreneurs, operate every day.
Which supports, funds and promotes events, programs, campaigns and projects for the benefit of local small and medium-sized businesses.
Which ensures the correctness of public procurement procedures and the timely payment of invoices and contractual obligations to suppliers working on public money projects.
Who communicate permanently and openly with representatives of the hospitality and gastronomy industry and relate professionally with them.
An administration that feels responsible to regularly measure, evaluate and report on the performance of its spending of public money in relation to the public services delivered in return for the fees paid by contractors.
An administration that measures the administrative burdens, costs and risks involved in each new regulation, so as not to place an excessive burden on small entrepreneurs.
An administration that is aware of the priority agenda of local entrepreneurs when taking decisions that affect and interest us.
Who, when he can't help us, at least stays out of our way and doesn't get in our way!
Which simplifies administrative procedures and facilitates the authorization and endorsement of our activities.
Supporting local businesses, knowing and realizing that a vibrant, vibrant and creative local economy pumps resources to meet all the needs of the community.
Which is always open to dialog, consultation and collaboration with the HoReCa community.
Together to serve the community, create jobs and contribute to the development of our city and county.
This is the kind of administration we want!
